The Society of Friends of the Ruhr University Bochum e. V. (gdf) hereby announces the awards for scientific work of members of the Ruhr University Bochum, which it has donated and awarded annually for 2020. With the award, the gdf would like to honor outstanding dissertations ("summa cum laude" or "with distinction"), habilitation theses, but also previously published scientific papers. If possible, the individual work should not be older than one year. The award is endowed with € 1,600.00. The faculty proposes the candidates from among its members, with a detailed explanation. The proposal period ends on April 18, 2020.
